Company History

The company was started by Colin White in 1975 a reputed tree surgeon and former England rugby player.

Colin excelled at anything he put his mind to. He was part of the team that beat the formidable All Blacks twice in 1983, he was voted Tynedale Sportsman of the year in 1979 and 1984, and was a reputed rugby coach.

The way he ran his business was no different – It became the first tree surgery company in the North East to be recognised as an Arboricultural Association approved contractor, leading the way for industry best practices and “championing the sustainable management of trees in places where people live work and play – for the benefit of Society.” – The Arboricultural Association

Sadly in 2011 Colin passed away. With the help of the dedicated workforce Colin employed, the business continues to run to his same standards and philosophies. Michael and Tina now manage the company with 6 full time employees and constantly strive to be at the forefront of advances in arboricultural practice.
